Take our School-Based Immigration Policies in Colorado Survey!

In 2025, Colorado passed SB25-276, a law designed to strengthen existing protections for students and school communities by requiring school districts and charter schools to adopt and public clear policies regarding interactions with immigration enforcement and data privacy. The policy must be easily accessible to students, families, staff, and the broader school community.

During the 2025-2026 school year, Movimiento Poder, alongside community members and organizations, helped pass an immigration policy that outlines what the district will do in the case of immigration enforcement activity in a Denver Public Schools (DPS) school. 

We recognize, however, that the work does not end there. We continue to fight for more protections and, with your help, hope to ensure that the above policies are actually in place in our schools. That is why we are asking you to fill out the following survey.
